Okay, this is for sure my Final, Final video.

Drift 2 Almost Final Video

Here is my almost finished product. After some constructive criticism from some other media artist I changed my video a little bit.

Rough Sketch with Sound

Drift Strategy

For my drift 2 walk I am going to start at the same point as my drift 1 walk. At the corner of North ave and Humboldt ave. but instead of heading up Humboldt ave. I am going to walk down North ave. toward the lake. From there I am just going to wander to whatever catches my eye.

I am also going to have 2 strategies for taking pictures. The first will be that I take a picture every tenth step. So I will be counting my steps as I walk and every time I get to ten I will take a picture of something in my view. Every tenth picture I take will be blurred. I will take these by moving the camera as I snap the picture. So on my 10th, 20th, 30th, etc. step I will have a picture. On my 100th step I will have a blurred picture. Then I will start over counting from one at my current location.

My other method for taking pictures will be that I cannot take a picture from a direct angle. Nothing will be looking dead on to the subject. I will take pictures from side angles or from above or below, depending on what makes it look most visually appealing or interesting.
